Acceptable Use Policy

This policy sets out how you may and may not use ScaffBase. It forms part of your Terms of Service with Uniti Scaffolding Ltd (trading as ScaffBase). Breaking it may lead to suspension or termination of your account.
1. Use it lawfully
You must use ScaffBase only for legitimate business purposes and in line with all applicable laws, including data-protection, employment and health-and-safety law.
2. You must not
- Use the service to store or send unlawful, defamatory, harassing or infringing content.
- Upload anyone’s personal data without a lawful basis to do so.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, other accounts, or the underlying systems.
- Probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the service, or get around its security or access controls.
- Introduce malware, or interfere with or place an unreasonable load on the service.
- Share login credentials, or let people outside your business use your account.
- Resell, sub-license or white-label the service without our written permission.
3. No copying to build a competing product
You must not use ScaffBase, anything you see within it, or anything it produces, to design, build, train or assist in building any product or service that competes with or replicates ScaffBase — whether done by a person or by using any artificial intelligence, machine-learning or automated tool.
This includes copying or imitating its layout, structure, workflows, features, wording or look-and-feel; extracting or scraping its content, templates, data models or designs; and using any part of the service (including screenshots, exports or generated content) as reference material or training input for any AI system intended to recreate similar functionality. This restriction continues after your subscription ends.
4. Responsible use of AI and messaging features
- Have a competent person review AI-generated content before sending or relying on it.
- Only message people who expect to hear from you, and follow the rules on electronic communications and consent.
- Do not use the messaging tools to send spam or unsolicited marketing.
5. Enforcement
If we reasonably believe you have breached this policy, we may suspend or limit access, remove offending content, and where appropriate end your subscription. For anything that risks harm to people or to the service, we may act immediately. Questions: andy@unitiscaffolding.co.uk.
